Menus are almost always changing at Disney World with new limited-time additions, but it’s not too often that new things are added to menus permanently.
Most recently, we saw a major menu overhaul at Narcoossee’s when it reopened at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. And, there were quite a few noteworthy changes at Chef Mickey’s when it returned to buffet-style and at California Grill when the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary ended at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. But, now there are some new menu items to check out at another restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club!
Yachtsman Steakhouse is known for being one of the best places to grab a steak in Disney World, and the menu just got more sweet and savory with FIVE new offerings!
Now you can plus up your steak with the new Filet Mignon served Oscar-style with crab, asparagus, and bearnaise. This is one of the Butcher’s Cuts Enhancements on the menu, so it also comes with Fingerling Potatoes, Blistered Tomatoes, and Confit Shallots. It costs $78.
Another new addition to the menu is the Plant-based Trumpet Mushroom “Scallop” with power grain pilaf, braised kabocha squash, yuzu-spinach emulsion. This is currently the only plant-based offering on the menu and it costs $38.
There are also TWO new sides available including the Hot Honey-Bourbon Brussels Sprouts with chili-candied walnuts and the Truffle Macaroni & Cheese. Each is an extra cost in addition to your main entree with the brussel sprouts costing $12 and the macaroni and cheese costing $14.
And, lastly, you can now top off your meal with a lighthouse-themed Chocolate Cake featuring a chocolate biscuit, 65% dark chocolate ganache, chocolate buttercream, and raspberry. It’s priced at $16.
So, is your mouth watering now? Be sure to head on over to Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney’s Yacht Club to give these a try! And, stay tuned to The VacationEAR for more of the latest Disney hotel news and updates!
